Equip316 is the new teaching curriculum being written and developed by Pastor Heath (with input from faithful friends) in order to maintain focus on the task of disciple development. It follows the principles of the mission of the FBC Talladega Student Ministry (listed in the 'Our Mission' page), and seeks to engage each age group/spiritual maturity level that is common within student ministry.
ENGAGE
Equip316 seeks to engage students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our conviction that no one graduates beyond the gospel. Rather, as they grow in understanding beyond elementary doctrines, the gospel must continue to permeate everything.
INVITE
INVEST
Equip316 seeks not only to invite students to respond to the gospel, but to be disciples. This implies that we spend time instructing on and demonstrating what it means to be a disciple.
Equip316 seeks to invest in students as disciple makers through instruction, demonstration, impartation, and delegation. Our desire is to develop disciples who make disciples.
